Do you like to develop in Objected Oriented Perl? (yeah me neither but forget the OO for a second) Do you like NYC Midtown? How about magazines about New York?!. Well the place I work; currently New York Magazine is looking for someone like you. If you think you’re up to it; It’s fun.. there is a party in every office, we drink champagne and eat lobster for lunch but we work hard. Google can’t top that, plus you’ll basically get a chance to work on a free software package. I’m sure some sort of free subscription of the magazine can be worked out and even though I’ve been here but a mere 3 or 4 weeks; it’s not depressing and I’m STILL HERE!

p.s. We really don’t drink champagne and eat lobster for lunch but now the combo strikes me. Also, currently to my knowledge the mag is moving around the Soho area.

It seems i’m in the market for a PDA. This poses a very interesting problem; the need arises for work primarily but I’d like to be able to carry exactly one device instead of two or three. So the requirements are as follows

• Must work with Linux; period. It needs to be able to sync with evolution and/or I should be able to easily write a utility to pull data off of the phone.
• Bluetooth capable
• Nothing from Microsoft on the phone.
• Should have decent form factor, sliding keyboard would be acceptable if it’s not to thick. Keyboard in design is also acceptable.
• It should obviously have phone capabilities; it should be halfway decent at said capabilites.
• Needs to work with Microsoft Exchange 2003 and or the BlackBerry Enterprise Server

That’s about it. I’m not sure if the Iphone would fit the bill as i’m not sure it works with Exchange/Blackberry Enterprise Server.  If anyone has any useful information let me know. Google juice suggest Nokia or Blackberry but if i’m going to do something new; now is the time for the research.
